Ms. Laila Johnson
Younger 2's Lead Teacher
Ms. Laila has a love and passion for kids. She enjoys doing circle times and activities with the kids. Ms. Laila has been a great addition to our My First School team. She is always bringing special treats and activities for the kids to enjoy.
Ms. Tiffany Johnson
Younger 2's Assistant Teacher
Ms. Tiffany brings a genuine love for children and a strong passion for helping them grow and learn. Her daughter, Alyssa, attended Ms. Dee Dee’s After-School program for many years, and her family has remained a special part of our community. We are thrilled to now have Ms. Tiffany as part of our team.
She previously served as a manager at Rack Room Shoes for over 15 years, where she developed strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence. We are excited for the experience, dedication, and heart she brings to our program.
Ms. Nicole Aquilante
Younger 2's Assistant Teacher
Ms. Nicole has been with My First School for a few years now, working in the 2's. She was also a student at Ms. Dee Dee's as a child. Ms. Nicole has found a love working with our younger kids and loves to do crafts with them.
Ms. Maria Ortiz
Older 2's Assistant
Teacher
Ms. Maria has over 10 years of experience in administration, finance, and customer service, along with experience in early childhood education. She worked with NC Head Start, as a supportive role in the classrooms. Her love for children has brought her to My First School as a two-year-old assistant. She loves helping children learn, while supporting families. Ms. Maria's bilingual skills in English and Spanish allows her to connect with students and parents in a meaningful way. We are excited to have Ms. Maria join our team.
Ms. Chaddie
Mixed 2's Lead Teacher
Ms. Chaddie is new to us this year, but comes with lots of experience working with kids and has a love and passion for young children. She has fallen in love with the twos and has become a wonderful addition to our family.
Ms. Hannah Abramowski
Mixed 2's Assistant Teacher
Ms. Hannah started with us as a Summer Camp Teacher and is now a lead after-school teacher for our 3's. Ms. Hannah has always been around children, as her mom runs her own in home childcare. She brings lots of creative ideas to the classroom.
