Ms. Anita was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. She is married and has three children and two stepchildren. She earned a degree and worked in the medical field for years before turning her attention to childcare . She taught TK and was a kindergarten assistant for 6 years. She also worked in preschool and watched the babies for the church bible studies. Ms. Anita has been a preschool assistant, and Summer Camp/Afterschool teacher here at Ms. Dee Dee’s for the past 4 years. This year she continues her role as the Older 3's Lead Teacher with her passion for decorating the classroom and creating cute crafts for the kids. Ms. Anita will always have a hug for her kids and a coffee in her hand!

Ms. Kristy Shult
Younger 3's Assistant
Ms. Kristy moved to NC from AZ two and a half years ago after being raised in NM and living a few years in AZ. Prior to joining My First School, Ms. Kristy stayed home with her young children while they adjusted to the move from out west, where she had been working at an engineering firm for several years. When she is not enjoying her time with all the children, she enjoys traveling with her family to the beach, to camp in the mountains, or anywhere that is exciting. Ms. Kristy joined our My First School family last school year, and she also works for Rise To Shine morning care program and is a lead summer camp teacher for our preschoolers, as well.
