Ms. Anita Crump
3's Lead Teacher
We are so thankful for Ms. Anita! She was born and raised right here in Charlotte, NC, and has a big, beautiful family—three children, two stepchildren, a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, and she recently became a proud grandmother to sweet baby Wren .Before teaching, Ms. Anita worked in the medical field, but her heart has always been with children. She has taught TK, worked as a kindergarten assistant, and now celebrates her 5th year as a lead three-year-old teacher at My First School! She has also been part of Ms. Dee Dee’s after-school and summer camp program for 7 years.If you know Ms. Anita, you know she always has a cup of coffee in hand and ready for a hug from her kids.
Ms. Adrienne Smith
3's Assistant Teacher
Ms. Adrienne comes to us from Sumter, SC, where she was born and raised. She majored in Childhood Education at SC State College and earned her credentials back in 1987. Ms. Adrienne began teaching kindergarten through 1st grade and has continued for 25+ years in the education field. Ms. Adrienne has been a preschool assistant and Summer Camp/Afterschool teacher at Ms. Dee Dee’s for many years. In this role, she was an integral part of our remote learning success during the pandemic. She has four children, 2 boys and 2 girls, who are her world! She loves her family, traveling, anime, and most all, the opportunity to teach your babies! :)
Ms. Shannon Rose
3's Lead Teacher
Ms. Shannon brings many years of teaching and childcare experience to My First School. She has even served as a director of a large center, but her heart has always been in the classroom. She is excited to be back doing what she loves most—working hands-on with children and preparing our four-year-olds for Kindergarten.
From the moment she joined us, Ms. Shannon jumped right in and quickly became a wonderful addition to our team. We are so thankful for her experience, passion, and dedication to our students!
Ms. Diane Bolt
3's Assistant Teacher
Ms. Diane comes to My First School with many years of experience working with children. She was the kindergarten teacher for Ms. Dee Dee's over the summer and she is loving working with the younger children.
