Jeannette Hollins
4's Lead Teacher

Ms. Jeannette and her husband, Todd, have been married since 1994 and have been living in the area since 2007. They have 3 beautiful daughters, Lauren, Leah, and Alyssa. Ms. Jeannette has spent over 20 years in education working with all age groups and subject areas. She graduated from Piedmont Bible College in 1996, with a BS in Education and later completed her Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont International University in 2015. Her faith and her family are the most important things in her life. She is the church pianist at West Monroe Baptist Church in Monroe, and her family does missions work in Northwest Ontario, Canada most summers. She feels honored and blessed to have the opportunity to work with the amazing families at My First School.

Tina Kelly
Curriculum Coordinator

Ms. Tina is one of our lead four year old teachers. She recently moved to Waxhaw, North Carolina a few years ago from Northern Virginia with her husband Bob, and daughters Kayla and Mary. Ms. Tina has obtained her bachelors degree in Elementary Education,  earned credentials in Early Childhood, and has eighteen years of experience teaching 2's through Kindergarten. She has also been a director for 6 years where she worked with children from  8 weeks old to 12 years old on a daily basis. When she is not with us at My First School, Ms. Tina is a Soccer Coach for her daughter Mary's soccer team. For fun, she enjoys going to music concerts and camping.

Kelly Cosgrove

4's Assistant Teacher/Floater

Ms. Meagan was born and raised in Union County, marrying her high school sweetheart and returning to the area after college. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating with her Bachelors in Communication Studies and Political Science. She then attended Walden University, receiving her Masters in Early Childhood Development. Ms. Meagan has worked with children in a professional capacity for the past six years, most recently as a first grade teacher in CMS. She has a four year old son, Grayson, and a baby daughter, Hadley.

Ms. Kelly was born and raised in Goldsboro, NC and recently moved to Lake Park with her husband in 2019. She has worked with children for 15 years, most recently as a Nanny. She has worked as an after school/summer camp counselor, art teacher, birthday party specialist, and Assistant Education Director of a non-profit. Ms. Kelly earned a Bachelors degree in Family and Child Development and an Associates in Art and Painting from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. When she is not caring for children, she is lacing up her skates as a Roller Derby Player for Charlotte Roller Derby (yes! You can come watch her play), riding dirt bikes with her husband, or heading the PR and Marketing department of Charlotte Roller Derby. She has a passion for developing leadership in youths and uses her skills in athletics and the arts to support her goal.
