However, above all the qualifications and credentials, we are most thankful for teachers and staff who love children and believe that there is intrinsic value in instilling in each child a love of learning that will go with them throughout their lives.
Ms. Jodi McConkey
Music Teacher
Ms. Jodi brings her love and passion for music to My First School, as a retired music teacher for the school system. She heads up our Christmas Concerts each year and prepares the kids for graduation. She makes music fun and educational each week for our students.
Ms. Susan Waller
Bible Teacher
Circle Time Coordinator
Ms. Susan has been with My First School for the past few years. She started as a substitute, then started working with our 3-year-olds and then moved down to the 4-year-old classes. She has many years of experience teaching in Christian schools, as well as in administration. She is always ready to jump right in and help wherever needed. Ms. Susan is working hard on instilling Bible lessons 3 days a week and is leading circle times for the 2-year-olds.
Mr. Andy Alban
Spanish Teacher
Mr. Andy has been with Ms. Dee Dee's for many years, first as a student in after-school and now as an after-school and summer camp teacher. He loves working with the preschoolers and watching them learn Spanish each week.
