Since Madelyn has been attending My First School she has learned quite a bit. I am most impressed with her ability to sound out new words and read simple stories. I've been very pleased overall with Ms. Heather and Ms Donna. You have been so wonderful to us and you made the transition to a new school easy for Madelyn. I really appreciate all you've done this year!

Brock has learned a lot this year. He is starting to write and sound out words. As great as that is, though, I think the change I notice the most is his personality. He is much more outgoing and confident. He is willing to try new things now that he would not have before.

This year has been greatly rewarding and a blessing for our family. My 4 year old has learned beyond our expecttions. Ms Tiffany, her teacher, has been exceptional. My daughter has been given individualized attention and care. There were plenty of opportunities for growth and learning. More than us, my daughter, has looked forward to coming to school each day to meet with her teacher and friends. She has grown academically, socially and psychologically. Her teacher is a great resource to the school as well as our child. It's been an open, safe and pleasant environment and relationship. I am looking forward for my 2 year old to join the preschool, too. Thank you for all you've done. The words can't describe our appreciation.

This year has been wonderful for Hunter. He has loved coming to school not only for his friends, but to see his teachers, also. (they walk on water as far as he is concerned) His capability of phonetically sounding out his words is incredible. Now I won't be able to spell out words so that he won't know what I am saying…uh oh! He is counting and adding, and asking a 1000 questions due to a peak in his curiosity (inspired by his teachers, no less). I believe Hunter's favorite things this year have been reading groups, music (he sings all the time), art projects, the Easter Egg hunt, and being “Spanish Speaker of the Week”. I feel so blessed that he got to be a part of this program this year.

Reading ! Reading! Reading! We are amazed! He loves to read! He has actually enjoyed this school year. Thanks for preparing him so well for Kindergarten. He can count to 100. I think at the beginning of the year he could only count to 12. We have seen so much growth this year. He has learned to write his numbers, and upper and lower case letters. He has learned that school isn't just about play but mostly learning and can be a little hard (especially in the beginning of the school year). A few bumps on the road but his behavior has been in the “acceptable” range. Thanks for helping us keep him in line. He has gone the whole year without his mom at home, what a trooper! We feel blessed to have Josh and we are very proud of him. Thanks for all you do! *By the way, he knows so many Spanish words and his computer skills have improved a lot.

This has been a wonderful year for Nolan. Academically, he is slowly improving, but socially he has had a huge growth. He's established all the “kinder” guidelines I think he needs to not struggle socially. The ABEKA program and Miss Tiffany have been very helpful in process of learning. Nolan loved meeting “his own” friends and loved the Spanish, music and computer classes.Thanks for a great year!

Everyone at My First School has been great. This is our first years here. Our son is always coming home with a funny story about stuff that he did that day. He has loved making new friends and feeling like a big boy going to school. Our family went through some tough times this year and Lake Park Preschool was so helpful and understanding through everything. Especially Mr. Mark! He always asked how we were when we saw him. They are definitely caring people at this place and we feel privileged to have been there this year!

Although we joined My First School in the third quarter of the school year, we cannot express how happy we are with this school and its teachers. Our son is happy to come to school at MFS. This is the first preschool he did not cry when being dropped off and actually looked forward to going to school everyday, as well as happy at every pickup! We are so happy to see our son happy. That is why we are confident that MFS is a great choice for now and next year! In just a few short months he has learned how to count better, write better and many other things… Our son loves My First School! I have seen a huge difference in Trey's social behavior. He has made a lot of new friends! There is so much he has learned this year. I believe the most important thing he has learned this year is confidence. I am so proud of him, the staff and school. I would do it all over again. I think it has definitely prepared him for kindergarten.

This year has meant many things to our entire family – even Mickey. Henry has learned more this year than I even thought he would. His conversational skills, social skills and math skills are great. Everyday he comes home and surprises us with something new that he's learned at school. He has made “buddies” that if he's lucky will last years to come. I feel that this year has given him a great foundation for his schooling. While I am sure Miss Tiffany is going to be sad to see her kids move on, she's got every reason to be proud of her accomplishments. Henry is ready to move on and Mickey is ready to move in… Are you ready?

Braxton has had a great and has felt very loved and accepted. I have had a great year in that I knew he was being cared for and the teachers and staff were partners with me in his education. He has blossomed this year and is fully ready for kindergarten.

It has been so wonderful to see Ami become such an excited little girl wanting to come to preschool to see Miss Tiffany and to watch her grow-up in such short time becoming a big girl so quickly! It is fun to listen to all her new words and stories about Jesus! It means so much to all of Ami's family that she has had such a place to come to learn and play, knowing she is safe. It has truly let us know what wonderful and truly special people you all are. We can see that children are really special to you all!

Miss Tiffany is a wonderful teacher. She has made one of the hardest times in Colin's life (and mine) much easier. This year started out very hard for both of us and today Colin enjoys going to school and I love being a part of that! I have watched him grow so much this year I cannot believe it. I would just like to thank everyone at MFS for all of your kindness.
